About us

Olubunmi Kaka Scholars Center (OK Scholars Center) is a non-profit established to help promising young people move beyond the limitations that financial circumstance can place on educational opportunity. Based in Molete, Ibadan, we support secondary students through structured academic support, mentorship, and developmental opportunities.At the heart of the Center is a simple conviction: A young person's circumstances should not determine the limits of their future.

Who We Serve

Senior secondary students preparing for WAEC/UTME, indigent/low-income households, and academically promising youths needing guidance or financial leverage. (Note: Politically neutral, non-partisan, and inclusive).

The Olubunmi Kaka Fellowship Programme

Supporting promising students beyond secondary school.

Core Overview

Every student formally admitted into an OK Scholars Center educational programme becomes an OK Scholar. Selected scholars who demonstrate academic promise and genuine financial need may progress into the Olubunmi Kaka Fellowship Programme. It is more than financial assistance; it is a continuing relationship providing scholarship support, sustained mentorship, and professional exposure through higher education.

Our Story

The Legacy Behind the Center

Established in honour of Mrs. Olubunmi Kaka (née Ogunsemowo), a dedicated school teacher whose life reflected a deep commitment to education. Her investment in the education of her nephew; our founderproved that one person’s commitment can change a future. Though she passed away in 2005, her values live on through the Center.
